Partner agreement

This agreement is between VINMaven (“we”) and the lender or insurer that sets up a partner account (“you”). The person accepting it confirms they are authorized to bind you. Our Terms of service and Privacy policy also apply.

1. What you receive

Requests from car buyers who chose you (or asked VINMaven to send their request to partners matching their state and car), with the specific vehicle, its price and the details the buyer consented to share. We verify your licences before you receive any request.

2. Fees

You pay the per-request or per-outcome prices shown in the portal's Billing page. Charges are listed per request; you may dispute a charge in the portal within 30 days and we review it in good faith.

3. Licensing and compliance

  • You hold and maintain every licence, charter or registration needed for the products you offer in each state you serve, and keep your coverage settings accurate.
  • You comply with all laws that apply to you, including ECOA/Regulation B, FCRA, TILA, GLBA and the FTC Safeguards Rule, state lending and insurance laws, the TCPA and CAN-SPAM.
  • Any credit decision, rate, approval or insurance quote is yours. VINMaven is not a lender, broker or insurance producer and does not make credit or underwriting decisions.

4. Buyer data

  • Use buyer information only to answer that buyer's request. Don't sell it, share it, or use it for unrelated marketing without the buyer's separate consent.
  • Protect it with administrative, technical and physical safeguards at least as strong as the law requires; tell us within 72 hours of any breach affecting it.
  • Honour buyers' requests to stop contact and to delete their data where the law gives them that right.

5. Representations to buyers

Rates, terms and quotes you send through VINMaven must be accurate and not misleading. “Starting from” figures must be achievable for some real applicants. Answers you send are shown to the buyer as yours.

6. Branding

You may show your logo, colour and name to your own team in the portal. You grant us a licence to display your name and logo to buyers in VINMaven as a partner, and confirm you have the right to grant it.

7. Confidentiality, warranties and liability

Each side keeps the other's non-public information confidential. The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Term, ending and changes

Either side may end this agreement at any time; sections 3, 4 and 7 survive. If we change it, the portal asks you to accept the new version before continuing. Questions: partners@vinmaven.com.
